Project Title: Close Gap Increase Access, Provide Adequate Therapy

Project Description: The project's name is close to the Gap, increase Access Provide Adequate Therapy with the acronym CAP-TB'. It is part of the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership Programmes (EDCTP), supported by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and Innovation Programme. The project is a consortium that involves several countries that are Tanzania (IHI and NIMR), Italy, South Africa, Switzerland (Swiss TPH), Germany, Mozambique Spain (Barcelona), and Ethiopia. It is part of the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership Programmes (EDCTP), supported by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and Innovation Programme. The project is a consortium that involves several countries that are Tanzania (IHI and NIMR), Italy, South Africa, Switzerland (Swiss TPH), Germany, Mozambique Spain (Barcelona), and Ethiopia. IHI study will be Bagamoyo and will take 42 months to be completed starting from Sept 2019. The CAP-TB General Assembly (GA) as the ultimate decision-making body of the consortium, chaired by the coordinator, and will consist of all of the consortium partners. It will will decide on the scientific strategy as well as the distributions of all funds made available to the consortium. The GA would be expected to meet at least every 6 months by electronic means and have at least two face-to-face meetings for Kick off and towards the end of the project. The consortium activities will be coordinated through the CAP-TB Steering Groups (SG)
